| AISS
is a not for profit charitable organisation located in Victoria.
It is made up of a group of committed volunteers who have been
personally touched by asbestos diseases.
Along with assisting and supporting those in
need, AISS aims to educate the general community about the
dangers of asbestos.
AISS provides:
- Support and assistance to victims and their
families.
- Co-ordination of support group meetings
- A free telephone advice service
- Central access point for information about
handling asbestos
- Promotion of medical research into asbestos
diseases and treatment.
- Free information kits
